In recent years, the nougat market<\/strong> has been flooded with flavors that challenge what we traditionally understand as nougat. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to find ham nougat<\/g>, beer nougat or even Chupa Chups. Although it may seem like a fun idea, these types of products are far from the essence of what a nougat really means. The real nougat<\/strong>, like the one we have been making at Casa Mira<\/strong> for more than a century, is based on a simple but exquisite recipe: the best quality almonds<\/a>, natural honey and egg white<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

While these new flavors try to capture consumers’ attention with extravagant ideas, what they are really doing is distorting the nougat tradition. Traditional nougat<\/strong> is much more than just a Christmas sweet<\/strong>; it is a piece of our gastronomic history that deserves to be respected.
